To: Respected Customers and Partners,
Greetings!
Recently, we have received reports that scammers have hacked into customers' email accounts through malicious means and fraudulently altered the payment bank information on the Proforma Invoices (PI) we sent to customers, replacing it with accounts controlled by the scammers.
In the emails, the scammers falsely claimed that our original account (DENSEN GROUP LIMITED) had been frozen for some reason, thereby demanding that customers remit the payment to a new company that does not belong to us. Such fraudulent methods are highly deceptive and aim to steal your payment.
To ensure the security of your funds and prevent such incidents from happening again, we hereby issue this solemn announcement and remind you to pay attention to the following matters:
Official account information remains unchanged: Our payment company name and bank account information are fixed for the long term and will not be changed easily. If you receive any request claiming a change in account, especially a request to make payment to an unfamiliar company, please be sure to treat it as the highest-level risk alert.
Recognize the official email domain: All our business emails are sent from the official domain @sydensen.com. Any email from other domains (such as @gmail.com, @163.com, @sydensen.net, etc.) claiming to represent our company is a phishing email.
Verify through multiple channels: Before making any payment, if you have any doubts about the payment information or receive any email that seems to be from us but contains suspicious content (such as a request to change the payment account, a claim of account abnormality, etc.), do not make the payment directly.
*Preferred verification method: Please immediately call the relevant business contact of our company directly using the confirmed official phone number you have.
*Alternative verification method: It is recommended that you also reply to our official emails contact@sydensen.com and info@sydensen.com simultaneously to avoid unilateral tampering with either account, and wait for our confirmation.
Summary: Please remember that any email requesting you to change the payment account is most likely a scam! A confirmation call before payment is the most effective way to protect the security of your funds.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and trouble this incident may have caused you. We always put our customers' interests and security first and will continue to strengthen information security measures. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
